I guess I think differently than most folks. I think the reason the world is a mystical, enchanting place, is because of the cycle of life. My body will decompose, but maybe some little element of it will be transformed into a particle of dirt, over years and years, and then a glorious flower will be nurtured by this particle of dirt. Then this flower will nourish a random bumblebee, who in turn will be eaten by a raven. So, in some future life, I'll be able to fly. I look forward to that. I've always admired the freedom of birds. . E. M. Crane
About This Quote

In his book "The New Yorker" magazine, John Updike wrote a essay about a man who sees life in a unique manner. He described a man who is a plant lover and who takes pleasure in watching the cycle of life. This man has a unique perspective on life and the beauty of nature. In one of his short stories, Updike describes a man who loves to watch the death and decay of the body.

He was fascinated by the fact that when a person dies, everything that person owned becomes part of this cycle of life. The only thing that goes away is the physical body. The author uses nostalgia to describe how he thinks differently from most people. He enjoys thinking about what will happen in future generations and begins to wonder if he himself will be able to fly someday.
